Monthly Events

Every month, Dr. Archuleta and the TOVC team aim to host a special event or clinic day each month with a specific Animal Health topic of focus relevant to the time year.

God designed animals to survive on the Earth, providing them with remarkable physiologic adaptation processes to help them respond to the changes in day length, temperature, weather, disease challenges, and other natural forces. These natural processes can result in diseases or disorders of the body.

In addition to naturally occurring disorders, domesticated horses and livestock encounter additional forces through their encounters with humans - such as being fed hay and other produced foods, being ridden or driven - which result in additional physiologic adaptations that require medical management.
